We are looking for a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting data center equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires knowledge of computer networking, hardware, and telecommunications, along with hands-on experience working with a variety of tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Hands & Eyes Support

Provide onsite “hands and eyes” services for remote teams.

Install and remove IT hardware as needed.

Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of IT equipment.

Complete basic device configurations and operating system installations.
Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory tracking.

Manage shipping, receiving, and loading dock activities.

Coordinate equipment decommissioning and secure destruction.
Media Administration

Handle physical media requests and movements.
-
Manage media libraries and conduct periodic audits.
Cabling
-
Perform cable installation, routing, and planning.
-
Disconnect and remove unused cabling.
-
Troubleshoot and repair cable-related issues.
General Support

Escort vendors and customers within the data center.

Provide support for internal and external audits.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

Assist with basic data center planning tasks.
