Currently searching for an Environmental Project Manager with expertise in air Quality and noise assessment projects, for our Alaska operations and supporting other Energy Service project locations. This position will be responsible for development and execution of air quality and noise assessment projects and services for our energy and resource development clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for existing and new client contracts.
- Manage air quality and noise environmental permitting, regulatory strategy development, monitoring field surveys, and construction compliance for a variety of energy and resource development projects, including, but not limited to, oil and gas facilities and pipelines; renewable energy production and transmission; mineral and hard rock mine development and operations; and associated infrastructure development.
- Manage environmental subcontractors and firms assigned to project phases.
- Manage the air permitting and noise aspects of projects including those associated with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), State air permitting agencies including , and county and local agencies.
- Ensure overall performance and accuracy of documents prepared for air quality and noise assessment services in accordance with National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) guidelines as applicable.
- Oversee the preparation of air quality and noise assessments and associated monitoring studies.
- Ability to review project work, quantities, costs, accuracy of specifications, completeness, and constructability.
- Ability to meet project deadlines.

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including advanced technical writing abilities.

The Skills and Knowledge You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of experience specific to air quality and noise permitting and impact assessment, and 5 years managing the associated permitting, consulting or NEPA documentation for oil and gas projects.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development, and evaluation related to the energy services industry.
- Knowledge of computer applications and functions, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
